Christmas 2006....

Mom, dad and I got to talk to John and Christie this morning which was a great way to start Christmas Day. Had a really nice day in Santee and ate dinner with mom and dad and their friends, the Fields... THEN, Deb called. That is all I have to say except I also got to talk with my beautiful niece, Jenn.
John, if you are reading this, Happy Birthday and I can't believe you are 24 years old!!! I miss you more than you know and I love you very much!!
Remember to send me the dates for your 2007 trip.

There is a New Reindeer in Town...Max!!

I didn't want the Christmas message to come only from Bandit - I wanted to tell you to have a very safe holiday and I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

With love,
me, Jan, Hinge and the brat who wears too much eye makeup!!

Dinner Reservations are Needed!

I think word is starting to spread about the great cuisine being served at Le Chateau Malloy. If it isn't Hinge or the possums eating the cat food, we now have new patrons that started showing up last night. I am going to have to charge more - these guys really take "all you can eat buffet" seriously!

Teambuilding - Daniel Island Company

We had a great day teambuilding at Middleton Plantation. I know you have all heard me talk about everyone so I thought I would share. From left to right, front row: Matt Sloan, Kate Meany, me, Cheryl Waker, Patsy Brophy, Mandy Cutler, Miriam McManus and Sarah Carper. Back row, left to right: Daniel Lewis, Jeff Elliott, Amy Pearson, Michael Carnell, Maggie Hackett, Julie Dombrowski, Carolyn Lancaster, Bill McKenzie and Sam Rashley.

Frosty

It wouldn't be Christmas without Frosty in the front yard. I remember when John and I bought this about three years ago. He really thought it was funny since I really hate to watch Frosty the Snowman. Every time Frosty melts in the greenhouse and the little girl starts to cry, I really start crying. Yes, I know the door will open and cold air will swirl in and make Frosty whole again, but I really do get upset. Just like I knew Lassie would survive and be back next Saturday night--I still cried when she got hurt. It's hard to be me!!!!

Another New Pet???

No, just a nightly visitor that Hinge and I have learned to love. He stops by every night just to help with dishes by cleaning out Hinge's cat food. Hinge doesn't seem to mind, she just lays on the swing and watches the big guy stop by. He is really getting used to us and didn't even seem nervous when I took his picture.

Great Blizzard of November, 2006

Snow was covering the ground and temperatures were dropping steadily. Right before this picture was taken it had fallen to a dangerous low of 60 degrees. I truly believe if the horse's breath had not warmed this family, they would not have made it in such treacherous conditions!!

Bucket of Bandit

I went into the closet this morning to get a belt. What I find is a bunch of smashed belts and a fat raccoon sitting on them... I bet not many people start their mornings out like this.....

I am an amateur!

Thought I would try and create a blog that would be fun to use as a family. I am sure there are features that I don't even know exist but will learn as I go. One thing I haven't learned to change is the time since it says I am posting this at 6:00 in the morning...that will be the day. Anyway, I love you all and be sure to hit the comment section to respond. This would be a great way to add the "wish list" for gift ideas for the kids....

John and Christie...

Ok, as you can tell I am not good at being able to put these pictures in order.. Somehow the picture of the cat got inbetween - anyway, this is a great picture of John and Christie at the Australia zoo....

Meet the cat - Hinge

I thought I would share a picture of Hinge. I know we have seen a million of Bandit so I thought it was time to show what the other member of our house looks like... This is a great picture because it doesn't show her wild hair (sometimes it looks like she has been electrocuted - I am talking about Hinge, not me!!)

His mother must be adorable!!!

This is one good looking kid and I bet his mother is something else to have such a great kid. (This is a family site so let's be kind - Debbie!!!). Anyway, I love this picture and I love him.

Antenna Ball

Unfortunately, it is time to change the antenna ball on the Mini. I have really enjoyed driving around with the turkey this month (wearing micky mouse ears) but it is now a new season so I will be putting Frosty up.... For Halloween I drove around with a green Frankenstein wearing sunglasses.

Christmas Lights, 2006

Here we go... my first attempt at bringing in a photo on the new Malloy blog. Hey, who is that handsome dog out front?
