Southeastern Wildlife - 2007

I wanted you to meet "Peggy Sue Possum". She and I were TV stars for a couple of minutes last Friday night on Live 5 News.....we helped with the weather. For those of you who saw the broadcast, I was the one in the green shirt.

Meet Sarah the Skunk

Peggy Sue and I weren't the only ones who were stars. We got to introduce "Sarah the Skunk". She wasn't too thrilled with the camera and spent some of her time gnawing on Bill Walsh's leather jacket. He handled it really well and is a big supporter of our organization. It was great to get exposure for the Center.

I will let you know if the paparazzi gets to be too much for me, Peggy Sue or Sarah...

Old Man Winter????

Nope, it is Max the Wonder Dog who wore this scarf for the longest time. He was really cute. After he came in from outside I told him his ears were cold so I wrapped up his head in my scarf and I think he actually liked it. He wore it and even layed on his bed with it on...

I love this dog!!!!

Who Needs Prince When We Have Prince(ess)

Sarah and I were laughing about Prince's do-rag (he wore it at Super Bowl's half time show)and decided that we would create our own . The reactions were great. Sarah sat at her desk like it was a normal day and some people just stared at her like she had lost her mind. Others just laughed because the original do-rag was being auctioned on e-Bay and we pretended we were high bidders.. Anyway, next time you are in Charleston and would like an autograph by "Princess", let me know and I will try to set up a paparazzi shoot...

I know it is hard to guess who this "thief" is that is trying to get into a bag that is much littler than she is ... Hint: even though you can't see the heavy make-up, look at her tail... it has stripes!!

I am back!!!

Been having a little trouble with my camera so I have taken a break from adding to the blog... I think it is working better but not perfectly. Will have to stop by and see my friend at Stables who looks about 12 but sure knows about cameras. Just thought I would give you an update.
