Christmas 2006....

Mom, dad and I got to talk to John and Christie this morning which was a great way to start Christmas Day. Had a really nice day in Santee and ate dinner with mom and dad and their friends, the Fields... THEN, Deb called. That is all I have to say except I also got to talk with my beautiful niece, Jenn.
John, if you are reading this, Happy Birthday and I can't believe you are 24 years old!!! I miss you more than you know and I love you very much!!
Remember to send me the dates for your 2007 trip.

Dinner Reservations are Needed!

I think word is starting to spread about the great cuisine being served at Le Chateau Malloy. If it isn't Hinge or the possums eating the cat food, we now have new patrons that started showing up last night. I am going to have to charge more - these guys really take "all you can eat buffet" seriously!

Teambuilding - Daniel Island Company

We had a great day teambuilding at Middleton Plantation. I know you have all heard me talk about everyone so I thought I would share. From left to right, front row: Matt Sloan, Kate Meany, me, Cheryl Waker, Patsy Brophy, Mandy Cutler, Miriam McManus and Sarah Carper. Back row, left to right: Daniel Lewis, Jeff Elliott, Amy Pearson, Michael Carnell, Maggie Hackett, Julie Dombrowski, Carolyn Lancaster, Bill McKenzie and Sam Rashley.

Frosty

It wouldn't be Christmas without Frosty in the front yard. I remember when John and I bought this about three years ago. He really thought it was funny since I really hate to watch Frosty the Snowman. Every time Frosty melts in the greenhouse and the little girl starts to cry, I really start crying. Yes, I know the door will open and cold air will swirl in and make Frosty whole again, but I really do get upset. Just like I knew Lassie would survive and be back next Saturday night--I still cried when she got hurt. It's hard to be me!!!!

Another New Pet???

No, just a nightly visitor that Hinge and I have learned to love. He stops by every night just to help with dishes by cleaning out Hinge's cat food. Hinge doesn't seem to mind, she just lays on the swing and watches the big guy stop by. He is really getting used to us and didn't even seem nervous when I took his picture.
